Yedaniah and his colleagues of the Judahite (temple) monestary, from your brother Hananiah (Nehemiah).

3.
May the gods seek the welfare of my brothers.
4.
Now this year, the 5th year of King Darius (of Persia), word was sent from the king to Arsames (Persian governor of Egypt), saying:
5.
In the month of Nisan, let there be a Passover for the Judahite (temple) monestary.

7.
Be clean and take heed.
8.
Do not work on the 15th day and on the 21st day.

9.
Also, drink no intoxicants; and anything in which there is leaven, do not eat, from the 15th day from sunset until the 21st day of Nisan, seven days, let it not be seen among you;

10.
do not bring it into your houses, but seal it up during those days.
11.
Let this be done as King Darius (of Persia) has commanded.
12.
To my brethren, Yedaniah and his colleagues of the Judahite (Jewish) temple, (from) your brother Hananiah (Nehemiah, Governor of Judah under Persian Kings).
